New podcast: With Nadia in Paris
Discover real Parisian life through Dutch eyes
What's it like to swap your cheese sandwich for a crusty baguette? In the new podcast With Nadia in Paris, presenter and journalist Nadia Palesa Poeschmann meets a remarkable Dutch person every week who dared to take the plunge: living and working in the city of love.
With personal stories, hidden gems, and honest insights, Nadia takes listeners behind the facades of romantic Paris. The podcast offers an authentic and fresh look at a city that everyone thinks they know: from culture shocks to the best croissants, from career opportunities to homesickness.
Nadia: “Everyone has an image of Paris, but what is it really like to live here? I talk openly with my guests about culture shock, love, careers, and homesickness. No scripts, no clichés, just the real story.”
Six remarkable Dutch people
In the first season, six Dutch people share their stories, each with their own Parisian adventure:
- Danial Aitouganov – fashion designer with the label Zomer, previously active at Burberry and Chloë
- Anna Sophia Evers – fashion model in the enchanting but ruthless world of fashion
- Bas Heijne – writer and columnist with sharp observations on Parisian culture
- Yvonne America – introduced the Dutch bicycle along the Seine
- Dani Baijens – former handball player for Paris Saint Germain, on sports and integration
- Sharita Raktoe – finance professional and lawyer who moved for love
