Mediahuis gives subscribers to nine regional newspapers access to NRC and vice versa
Good news: Starting today, subscribers to nine regional newspapers published by Mediahuis will also benefit from NRC's journalism. Anyone with access to the digital newspaper will automatically have access to all online articles on nrc.nl and in the NRC app.
"What unites all our news brands is a belief in independent and reliable journalism – both regionally and nationally. In our view, NRC is a great addition to what our own regional editorial teams produce. After all, they focus on all regional news, background information, and in-depth analysis. By combining both subscriptions, you get the best of both worlds,“ says Susan Horstra, publisher at Mediahuis Nederland. ”This allows us to combine the proximity of regional journalism with the depth and breadth of NRC."
Readers will have access to sharp analyses, background stories, and extensive dossiers on domestic and foreign affairs, economics, politics, culture, and more.
The participating titles are: Dagblad van het Noorden, De Gooi- en Eemlander, De Limburger, Friesch Dagblad, Haarlems Dagblad, IJmuider Courant, Leeuwarder Courant, and Noordhollands Dagblad.
Access to NRC is included with subscriptions that include access to the digital newspaper. Subscribers can easily log in with their existing Mediahuis account at nrc.nl or in the NRC app.
