J/M Ouders strengthens its position with Famme

Parenting platform J/M Ouders will expand with Famme on August 1, 2025. With this addition, J/M Ouders will become a complete platform for parents of children aged 0 to 18. Until now, Mediahuis Nederland's digital platform has mainly focused on parents of children between the ages of 4 and 18. Thanks to the merger with Famme, which focuses primarily on children aged 0 to 4, J/M Ouders will become the go-to place for all conceivable parenting issues.

Famme has been there for parents of young children every day since 2014. At Famme, you can read personal, relatable, and unique stories from other parents. Because every parent has a story. This step makes J/M Ouders even more complete: a place for every parent with children in every age group. J/M Ouders has been an established brand since 1997. Since 2015, the brand has had a complete online focus.

“With the arrival of Famme, we are realizing a long-cherished dream: a platform for all parents of all children up to the age of 18,” says Sofie Vissers, editor-in-chief of J/M Ouders. "Parenting has different phases, each with its own challenges, issues, and special moments. Thanks to the addition of Famme, we can now support and inspire parents from the very beginning, during pregnancy and the baby phase. This feels like a natural step in our mission to be meaningful to all parents."

J/M Ouders makes parenting more fun, more relaxed, and easier. Whether it's babies, toddlers, or teenagers, we put things into perspective, offer knowledge and inspiration, and give parents practical tools. Think stimulating columns, personal stories, and handy how-to guides. At J/M Ouders, you'll find a mix of (experiential) expertise and science. Loving parenting is central, with a focus on conscious, natural, and positive parenting.

Vissers: "At J/M Ouders, we are building a lively online community where parents feel truly seen and heard. We have big ambitions, with impactful video series, strong collaborations, and a podcast that isn't afraid to delve into depth. In this way, we want to inspire, activate, and connect parents. Because parenting in 2025 requires a good dose of support—from and for each other."
