Presenter Irene Moors will also be marrying listeners during the 100% NL Wedding Marathon on 2 June 2026. The presenter announced this this afternoon on the station during *Somertijd* with Rob van Someren. Today, Moors and singer Flemming were specially sworn in as civil registrars (Babs) for the Wedding Marathon.
During the 100% NL Wedding Marathon, eleven couples will be married on the boat De Zilvermeeuw in Drimmelen. Alongside Flemming and Moors, 100% NL DJs Rob van Someren and Barry Paf will act as wedding officials. The eleven couples will be divided among the four well-known registrars and married throughout the day. Well-known artists will also be performing at the weddings.
Irene Moors: “This year marks 25 years of marriage for Barry and me. We still think each other is the nicest and sweetest person in the world! Love, being there for one another, in good times and bad – that’s what it’s all about. A team together forever. I therefore consider it an honour to be able to tie the knots for these couples on the day.”
100%NL Wedding Marathon
This year sees the second edition of the 100% NL Wedding Marathon. The special date of 2 June (2-6-'26) has been chosen for this edition. Morning show DJs Ingrid Jansen and Giorgio Hokstam are once again taking charge of the organisation and will combine their morning show with presenting the event on location. Rob van Someren and Barry Paf will also be broadcasting live from De Zilvermeeuw that day with their programmes Somertijd and The Barry Paf Show.
