Monday morning the radio game ‘The Whisperer’ was launched on Radio Veronica.

After the success of the previous two editions, in which participants became tens of thousands of euro’s richer, listeners may once again guess which BN’er ‘Radio Veronica, Join The Club’ whispers.

Last edition Erik Scherder was the Whisperer for five weeks. The professor was guessed after 142 wrong answers, good for a record amount of €31,200. In the first edition, Hans Klok, DJ Jean and Bridget Maasland were the Whisperers; Hans Klok remained unguessed the longest, earning €22,400.

Gerard Ekdom: "With the previous editions, we've seen that the Whisperer doesn't just keep guessing. That's what makes the game so much fun. And also for the Radio Veronica DJ's it remains a surprise every time which voices pass."

How does it work?

From March 23, the Whisperer will sound every working day between 7:00 and 19:00 every hour on Radio Veronica. The starting amount starts at €3000,- and increases by €200,- with every wrong answer. Listeners play along by sending ‘whisperer’ to Radio Veronica's app for a chance to give the correct answer live on the air.
