Frederique van Dalen(36) makes the move within Mediahuis Radio to the position of Station Director for SLAM! She will thus become responsible for the radio station's programs’s, DJ’s, music and promotions. Van Dalen has broad experience in the radio world and previously held various roles in the radio industry, such as producer, sidekick, director and more recently Creative. In her new position, she will take her place in the management team of Mediahuis Radio.

Frederique van Dalen succeeds Martijn Zuurveen in this position. Until recently, he held the same position at 100% NL in addition to Station Director of SLAM! In order to give both stations the right focus and attention, it was decided to separate this combined position and have it filled by two people. The position of Station Director for 100% NL is still vacant.
Frederique van Dalen was born in Maastricht. She began her careerère after her studies in Groningen at Giel Beelen's morning show on NPO 3FM. She then worked at NPO Radio 2, Radio Veronica, Radio 538 and SLAM!.
Frederique is married to journalist and DJ Edwin van Dalen and has two stepchildren.
