Wedding marathon returns to 100%NL on June 2, 2026, Giorgio & Ingrid seek celebrities as civil servants

The Wedding Marathon returns to 100% NL on June 2, 2026. Morning show DJs Giorgio Hokstam and Ingrid Jansen organized a successful first edition this year, in which Rob van Someren officiated ten couples during the morning show. The upcoming edition will be even bigger: this time, the weddings will take place throughout the day, not just in the morning. Giorgio and Ingrid will also be looking for more well-known wedding officials to join Rob van Someren. Couples in love can register starting today via the 100% NL website or app.
Rob van Someren will once again serve as a Special Civil Registrar (babs) during the Wedding Marathon in 2026. This morning, he called the 100% NL studio to challenge fellow DJs Giorgio Hokstam and Ingrid Jansen to organize an even bigger event than this year's edition.
Rob van Someren: “What surprised us all a little about the first edition of the Wedding Marathon was the huge number of registrations we received. That prompted the management of this wonderful, orange-colored radio station to organize a full day of 100% NL Wedding Marathon on June 2 next year.”
Ingrid Jansen: “From arranging the dresses and the cake to the bachelor party and the wedding venue: we are going to pull out all the stops to make this edition an even greater success.”
Giorgio Hokstam: “And don't forget the famous civil registrar! Rob van Someren did a great job last year, of course, but it would be nice for him to get some help from well-known colleagues.”
After the special date of May 2, 2025, next year's Wedding Marathon will move up a month to the next special date: June 2, 2026. The upcoming edition will not only take place during the morning show, but will be spread throughout the day. That does not automatically mean that more couples will get married. The number of registrations will be taken into account. It may also mean that there will be more time for each couple. Giorgio & Ingrid will take care of the organization.
