Suzanneke Niemeijer returns to Hyves as Head of Community and Content
One of Hyves’ earliest employees is returning to the legendary Dutch platform.
Suzanneke Niemeijer is returning to Hyves after more than 13 years as Head of Community and Content. As one of the platform’s earliest employees, she spent over seven years at Hyves, holding various positions, including Community Manager and Brand Manager. In the years that followed, Suzanneke gained experience at a number of media organisations, including FD, BNR, VMN Media, NPO, Radio 538 and War Child.
Suzanneke has now spent 20 years working across various roles in media, marketing and community management. Bringing a wealth of experience, including her previous time at Hyves, she is once again taking on a role focused on the platform’s community.

In her new role, Suzanneke will act as the link between Hyves and its community of Hyvers. She will lead the team of moderators and be responsible for the content strategy and moderation. In addition, she will play a central role in connecting the various departments and contribute significantly to the platform’s user experience (UX).
