In the Rijksmuseum Podcast, the deeper stories from the Rijksmuseum collection come to life. Questions you’ve always wanted to ask—or didn’t even know you had—are posed to museum experts. To bring this unique podcast to the attention of (potential) listeners and boost the number of downloads, the Rijksmuseum launched an Elastic Spotify campaign through Mediahuis. And with great success! The number of podcast streams rose by a whopping 20%!

The Campaign

We ran the Elastic Spotify campaign across multiple phases, using data and contextual targeting. We featured a different episode for each phase. The campaign was featured in publications such as De Telegraaf, Manners, Want, and Metro.

The results

The campaign has been viewed more than 1.2 million times. Nearly 4,000 visitors clicked on the ad. The number of streams increased by as much as 20%.
