Delivery specifications Brand story

Brandstory is a content proposition, which means it offers you the opportunity to tell your story to our readers. The product consists of a story, including photography and possibly video, on a special landing page. To direct readers to this story, we use the special Brandstory promotional banner.
 
Text specifications

  • Headline: max. 50 characters
  • Introduction: max. 150 characters
  • Story: there is no maximum number of words for the story, but our advice is: 70 words per paragraph. Short, catchy Brand Stories (around 150 words) get the most clicks on the call to action button. Longer Brand Stories (> 300 words) take longer to read on average

 
Call to action: max. 50 characters

  • The article must be submitted via a URL or as a Word file
  • Image and media specifications
  • A photo above the article (the cover photo)
  • A photo for the promotional banner (can be the cover photo)

 
A logo of the advertiser

  • An image in the call to action block
  • And (optional) images in the article
  • Optionally, embedded videos and podcasts can be added with a link
  • The cover photo must be at least 2,000×2,000 pixels
  • All images must have a maximum file size of 4 MB
  • File format .png or .jpg

 
The logo can be supplied in .png or .svg format

  • A few more tips
  • For readability, it is important to strike a good balance between text and images
  • Highlighting quotes improves readability
  • Good photos ensure a high CTR, or more readers for your article
  • A good cover photo has a visually appealing element in the center of the image
  • Always choose images that are easy to understand
  • Avoid stock photography
  • Avoid using very light backgrounds or high contrasts, so that the text (black or white) remains legible
  • Individual portraits usually work better than photos of groups of people
