Dumpert launches brand new series: ‘Dumpert: Team Verkeer’
A unique behind-the-scenes look at the Rotterdam police
Following the huge success of the award-winning series Ambu 146, Dumpert – the largest video platform in the Netherlands and part of Mediahuis Nederland – is launching a brand new production: Dumpert: Team Verkeer. This three-part documentary series takes you into the world of the Rotterdam-Rijnmond traffic police. Expect action, responsibility and impressive cooperation – all right in front of your nose.
In Dumpert: Team Traffic, we follow police officer Rianne and her colleagues from Team Traffic Rotterdam as they go about their daily work on the streets. From supervising the Rotterdam Marathon to training ambulance escorts and coordinating the flow of traffic around the cup final – including player and supporter buses. The series not only shows the action-packed moments, but also provides space for the personal stories of these police officers who manage traffic every day.
Dumpert presenter René van Leeuwen walks along with the heroes in blue: “What you see is not played. Everything is real. You feel the adrenaline, the dedication and sometimes even the frustration. But above all: the respect for their work grows with every minute you watch.”
Consisting of three half-hour episodes each, the series provides a rare behind-the-scenes look at traffic police.
Dumpert: Team Traffic is the latest step in Dumperts ambition to make more documentaries and series that make the real work of emergency workers visible to the general public. Where Ambu 146 portrayed ambulance personnel, it now focuses on the men and women of the traffic police.
Curious to see what it’s like during an emergency drive with blue flashing lights? Dumpert: Team Traffic can now be viewed exclusively on the Dumpert platform and via YouTube.
